# Board Item

The resource uses one item. Using it starts the place mode, the item is removed when the table is placed and given back when the owner removes it.

| Setting                                | Default        | What it does                                  |
| -------------------------------------- | -------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| `Config.BoardPlace.ItemName`           | `lstour_board` | Item name                                     |
| `Config.BoardPlace.Item`               | `true`         | Allow placing with the item                   |
| `Config.BoardPlace.RemoveItemOnPlace`  | `true`         | Take 1 item when the table is placed          |
| `Config.BoardPlace.ReturnItemOnRemove` | `true` | Give it back when the owner removes the table |

An image for your inventory is included: `install/lstour_board.png`.

## ox\_inventory

`ox_inventory/data/items.lua`:

```lua
['lstour_board'] = {
    label = 'LS Tour Board',
    weight = 1000,
    stack = true,
    close = true,
    description = 'Place an LS Tour board in the world',
    server = {
        export = 'daddy-lstour.useLstourBoard',
    },
},
```

{% hint style="warning" %}
Use `server.export`, not `client.export`, and do not set `consume`. The script takes and returns the item itself.
{% endhint %}

## QBCore / Qbox with qb-inventory or ps-inventory

`qb-core/shared/items.lua`:

```lua
lstour_board = {
    name = 'lstour_board',
    label = 'LS Tour Board',
    weight = 1000,
    type = 'item',
    image = 'lstour_board.png',
    unique = false,
    useable = true,
    shouldClose = true,
    description = 'Place an LS Tour board in the world',
},
```

Copy `install/lstour_board.png` to your inventory's `html/images/` folder.

## ESX

```sql
INSERT INTO `items` (`name`, `label`, `weight`, `rare`, `can_remove`) VALUES
('lstour_board', 'LS Tour Board', 1, 0, 1);
```

With ESX and ox\_inventory, use the ox\_inventory definition above.

## Other inventories

qs, codem, tgiann, origen, core, ak47, jaksam, jpr and S-inventory: add `lstour_board` as a usable item in that inventory's item list. The usable handler is registered automatically.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://daddy-studios.gitbook.io/daddy-studios-docs/scripts/daddy-lstour/items.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
