# Changelog

## 2.0.0

### Upgrading from 1.x (breaking)

* Access no longer comes from `server.cfg` ACE groups or jobs. Staff, roles and permissions are managed in the panel
* Upgrading resets the staff list and roles once and switches off scheduled console commands
* Claim owner again: a one-time code is printed in the server console, type `/adminclaim` in game and enter it (`daddyadmin_newcode` makes a new one)
* Admin `/heal` is now `/aheal` so it no longer hides EMS scripts' `/heal`; `Config.Commands` renames or turns off any admin command
* `/ban` needs a duration (`/ban 12 cheating` used to be permanent)

### Roles and permissions

* Roles have a level (1-99) and a set of permissions; every action checks them, quick menu and commands included
* Staff who manage roles can only work below their own level and only hand out permissions they hold; the last owner cannot be removed
* Giving someone a role first shows which permissions they gain and lose
* Role changes reach online staff at once; anything they may no longer use (noclip, godmode, spectate, ESP, live screen) is switched off
* Lua console, server terminal and scheduled console commands are owner-only
* Permissions and their actions live in `config/permissions.lua` and can be rearranged

### New

* Staff calls: call a player into a private voice channel at any distance, like a phone call, with a timer card on both sides (`/call`, `/joincall`, `/leavecall`, `Config.Call`)
* Jail that lasts: kept inside a radius until the time is up, also after relogging or a restart, with a timer on screen (`Config.Jail`)
* Timed voice mute that really mutes (pma-voice / Mumble) and survives reconnects (`Config.Mute`)
* Bans page: "In jail" and "Muted" tabs with time left and early release; change the length of an active ban
* Players follow their tickets: `/report` has "My tickets" with the conversation and a reply box, staff answers arrive as a game notice
* Staff alerts (new ticket, player reply, suspicious signal, approval) in the quick menu, the compact bar and with no menu open
* Watchlist: staff are alerted when a player tagged risky, high risk or cheater joins (`Config.Watchlist`)
* Frozen, cuffed, jailed and muted players show a badge in player lists and on the map
* Spawn tracking: "delete vehicles I spawned" and "delete objects I placed", staff spawns are removed when they leave (`Config.Spawns`)
* Approvals can also cover large money changes, mass payouts and emptying inventories (`Config.Panel.Approvals.Thresholds`); an emptied inventory can be restored once from its log entry
* Spawn a copy of any owned car with all its mods without touching the owner's garage
* Try a player's saved outfit or current look on yourself (clothes or face), copy and paste outfit and face codes, then restore or keep your look
* Logs: load older entries and pick a date range; the scheduler shows when each task runs next and ran last
* `daddyadmin_doctor` in the server console lists detected integrations, missing tables and scripts without an adapter

### Purpose-built windows

* Punishments: ban, kick, warn and jail in one window with a duration line (1 hour to permanent or any length, with the end date) and one-click reasons
* Money: cash, bank or crypto with the balance before and after, quick amounts and reasons; also for society accounts
* Items: grid with categories, search and recent items; give several at once with their counts; removing only offers what the player carries
* Give windows (items, money, job, gang, vehicle) stay open after each give so you can give again; bulk selected players can get items, money, job or gang
* Player picker: you, the nearest player and everyone else by distance, with job and health
* Announcements: title, type, time on screen and a live preview of the card players see
* Vehicle spawn: model list with categories, search and recent models
* Jobs and gangs: grades as a ladder with the boss grade marked
* Area actions (clear area, clear NPCs, heal nearby, mass revive and heal, clear vehicles): a radar with the radius, presets and a whole-server option

### Activities: the menu steps aside

* Spectate, screen watching, inspecting and placing objects and flying hide the menu (it keeps its page), hand the game the mouse and keyboard and show a small HUD with the keys
* Backspace, Esc or the menu key end it and bring the menu back exactly as it was
* Spectate camera orbits the player: mouse turns, wheel zooms, follows on foot and in vehicles, walls pull it closer; arrow keys switch players, E/R/G/H heal, revive, bring and freeze
* Placer follows where you aim, stays see-through until placed, arrow keys raise and lower, Enter places
* Inspect keeps the picked object selected; right click deletes through the server, F freezes

### Map

* Big map: click a spot to teleport, your own position, saved places, clearer markers and a player card with every action
* Heatmap counts each player once per spot every 15 minutes over a rolling 24 hours
* Gangs can be shown on the map; trails no longer mix up players
* Quick menu Map section: mini map with your position and heading, saved places as pins, click-to-teleport

### Weather and time

* Weather card in the quick menu and on the server page: photo of the current weather and time of day, a sky-coloured time line and weather tiles
* Stop the clock and change how fast time runs (half to four times); speed needs Renewed-Weathersync
* City blackout shows the real state; the scheduler uses the same weather tiles and time line
* Weather and time set in the panel now apply with Renewed-Weathersync and stay until changed

### Players and economy

* Offline characters show money, job, gang, inventory, vehicles, notes and last seen; inventories can be emptied also for offline characters
* "Delete all" empties a player's inventory or a stash, trunk or glovebox, also from the quick menu, and is logged
* Economy CSV export has the right columns, payouts use proper windows with a total
* ESP draws real boxes with live distance and no flicker
* Server lock survives restarts and lets every staff member in

### Smaller download

* Players download about 8 MB instead of 18 MB: the highest satellite zoom (9 MB) moved to `web/map-hires` (optional) and menus load only when first opened

### Security

* `/laser` could delete vehicles and objects for anyone; it now needs the inspect permission
* Offline bans skipped the rank check; a manual ban by name only matches an exact, unique name
* Bans store every identifier and hardware token and match on them; the connect check waits for the database
* Very long bans need the same approval as permanent ones; approvals are claimed atomically and the requester cannot be faked
* Rank checks on spectate, screen view, live inventory, item removal, routing bucket, warnings, needs, duty and stat reset; bring needs a higher rank
* Troll length and strength are clamped on the server (`Config.Troll`); money changes are capped (`Config.Panel.MaxMoneyAmount`)
* IPs, Discord ids and full licenses are masked for roles without the sensitive-identifiers permission
* Reset social-media passwords are no longer written to the logs; custom actions check target, rank and inputs

### Fixes

* Money was logged twice on qbx; ESX money and needs use the real events
* Editing character info never saved; player health showed 100 for everyone alive
* Helicopters, planes, boats and bikes spawned as broken vehicles; garage actions left cars in the wrong state
* Emptying an inventory also removed the cash item (ox\_inventory); ox inventory weight was counted twice
* Fuel from the panel works with savana-fuel, LegacyFuel and decor-based fuel scripts
* "Reset ped" works with illenium-appearance; applying an outfit only changes clothes
* `/dv` is capped at 100 m and leaves cars with players inside
* Enter on a focused button in a window no longer runs the main action (Cancel + Enter banned)
* Quick menu: Esc in search no longer closes it, ghost mode ignores game keys, the compact bar has ALT, mass revive and heal reach every player
* Restarting the resource no longer leaves godmode, invisibility, freeze, handcuffs or troll effects active
* Old open tickets stay in the queue; ghost sessions no longer inflate the online count
* Panel messages appear at the top and stay long enough to read; the Notifications list shows the full text
* Many smaller fixes: buttons wait for their request, more copy buttons, keyboard focus rings, exact time on hover

## 1.0.1

### Fixes

* Live map showed nobody online: the player list called a client-only native on the server
* Player profile failed to load (money, inventory and vehicles stayed empty) when `Config.Money` was missing
* Inventories with gaps between slots (ox\_inventory) showed as empty
* Player tabs no longer break when a resource sends no list (outfits, phone, records, evidence)
* Blurry text in game: the panel now scales with CSS zoom instead of transform, and backdrop blur is gone
* Squashed letters in game: the in-game UI uses Segoe UI, which is hinted for small sizes on Windows

### Live map

* Tiles draw at real screen pixels, no more lines between them, smoother panning
* New heat map: smooth density colours, top hotspots with rank badges and a legend

### Panel

* Pages wait for their data and fade in once instead of jumping while loading
* UI errors now name the failing screen in the F8 console

### Quick menu (F9)

* Targeted actions open a player picker directly (one click, search, Enter picks the first match); the Me / Nearest / Pick switch is gone
* Run button on the right of every row, favourite star next to it
* New actions: Fire (set unemployed), View money, Private message

## 1.0.0 - first public release

### Panel

* Tablet-style panel (`/adminp`): dashboard, activity, players, jobs and gangs, vehicles, inventories, tactical map, world tools, tickets, bans, economy, staff, logs, server control and settings
* Tactical map with live player positions, heat map and route history
* Player profile with character, money, inventory, vehicles, properties, licenses, bills and phone accounts
* Economy page with money history and flagged money jumps
* Tickets with chat between staff and players, players open them with `/report` or `/support`
* Bans, warnings, kicks and screenshots (screenshot-basic)
* Resource list with start, stop and restart, protected resources stay untouched
* Scheduler for announcements, restarts with warnings, weather, time and console commands
* Optional Lua console for owners (`Config.Devtools.Enabled`, off by default)
* Optional live screen view of a player over WebRTC

### Quick menu

* Side quick menu (`F9` / `/admin`) that stays open while playing, keyboard navigation and favorites
* Compact bar with the most used toggles
* Noclip, godmode, invisibility, name tags, teleports, vehicle tools, object placer, troll actions

### Staff and permissions

* Five ranks with a minimum rank per action, ACE groups supported
* Role editor in the panel, two-person approval for chosen actions
* Every staff action is logged, optional Discord webhooks per channel

### Compatibility

* Qbox, QBCore and ESX, detected automatically
* Inventories, phones, appearance, billing, housing, society, medical and weather scripts are detected when running
* Every integration lives in `bridge/` and stays editable in the escrowed release
* English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic and Russian

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://daddy-studios.gitbook.io/daddy-studios-docs/scripts/daddy-admin/changelog.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
